Goals

I haven't set forth any goals as of yet so this seems like a good time to make some. I have a few things in mind that I would like to accomplish.

1. Grow my bankroll to $10k between June.1 and Sept.31. This is definitely a feasible goal. There are ~122 days in that timeframe which means to go from $2100 to $10k is only $64.75/day.
2. Get some form of coaching to help achieve #1. Pretty self explanatory.
3. Monday-Friday play for 4hrs; 2hrs on with a 1hr break then 2 more hrs. I want to keep this consistency not only to keep my game in check but also to get a consistent daily VPP average.
4. Saturdays and Sundays will be tournament days with no cash. My goal will be to hit at least 1 Final Table.
5. Hoard all my FPP's for the cash milestone bonuses. According to the PokerStars VPP Calculator I will reach Supernova status in November. We will see how that goes but it is one of my goals.
6. Be comfortable playing 6-8 tables and add more as I see fit. This is an important goal for me in order to achieve my VIP status goal.

I think that with a bit of help cleaning up my leaks and some run good none of these goals are out of reach and may even be on the conservative side. If I start this journey with a slap from the deck it will take some psychological effects. I am generally pretty good at controlling tilt, but paying off fish with retarded hands right from the get-go will be tough to handle. I'm at work right now but I'll post my graph from last summer when I get home just to remind myself of what I don't want to happen.

So as you can see I crashed and burned pretty hard. This was not all due to bad play...I got cold decked pretty bad. Prior to this I had ~1k on there for a roll and I think I ended up withdrawing $400 all together, then losing another $400 I called it quits. This year I won't touch my poker bankroll and make sure I have enough on there to roll through a downswing - hence the 84 BI's I'll have for 25NL.
